When I downloaded the 1.20 firmware, the website did say that once "upgraded" the router could not be reloaded with the older firmware. Since you said you've updated your firmware in the last few weeks, I'll take a stab at it and guess that your DGL-4500 is running either firmware version 1.20 or 1.21NA.
